How we handle your details.

This page explains what the Liverpool Landscape Specialists website collects, where it goes and what we use it for. Liverpool Landscape Specialists is the name Liverpool Landscape Specialists Group trades under on this site.

What the website collects

The site only collects anything when you use the project quoter. It asks for:

details of the project: the type of work, rough size, what is there now, access, site conditions, the finish you have in mind and when you hope to start;
your name, mobile number and/or email address, your postcode and how you would like us to contact you;
photos of the space, if you choose to add them.

We ask for your name, mobile number and email address before showing the guide price. These are saved when you press Continue, to storage we run on Cloudflare, so we can follow up on the enquiry by phone, text or WhatsApp even if you do not finish. They are kept for 180 days, then deleted; ask us and we will remove them sooner. We only send offers and seasonal work by text or email if you tick the box asking for them, and you can stop those at any time by replying STOP or asking us.

How it reaches us

When you press Send project, WhatsApp opens with your project details written into a message to us, and you send that message yourself. Apart from the photos described below and the details saved when you press Continue, the website does not send your details anywhere else. WhatsApp's own privacy terms apply to messages sent through it.

Photos you add are uploaded as you choose them, to storage we run on Cloudflare, under a reference that is unique to your enquiry. The WhatsApp message carries a link to those photos so they reach us with your details. The link is not listed anywhere and cannot be guessed. Photos are deleted automatically 90 days after upload. If you close the quoter without sending, any photos already uploaded are held for the same 90 days with nothing attached to them, then deleted; ask us and we will remove them sooner.

Your project answers are held in your own browser while you work through the quoter and are not sent to us until you press Send project, apart from the details saved when you press Continue as described above. A copy stays on your device afterwards so you can see what you sent.

What we use it for

We use what you send to review your project, get back to you in the way you asked, and deal with any work that follows. We do not sell your details or pass them on for marketing.

Cookies and tracking

The website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. It loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your device's IP address when the page loads.

Your rights

You can ask us what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Call or WhatsApp us on 07745 584946. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
